Last year September a friend tagged me on this post from @thejamaicastar telling the story of @samantha7778smith and her journey with Stage 3 Lymphedema otherwise called Elephantiasis.
I was saddened by some of the comments from many who do not understand the struggles associated with this disease.
I met Samantha in October for Evaluation and today I was very excited to welcome her back in office to start her treatment with the help of some good samaritans who would like to remain nameless.
She would like to share her story to raise awareness and to encourage anyone out there enduring similar challenges to keep the faith. We have a long road ahead of us as I partner with her on this journey..but she will need additional support. If you would like to assist her you may contact me for information on how you can do so.
